Sándor Badacsonyi: He was born in 1949, Budapest. He gratuated from Hungarian Academy of Fine Art with a degree graphis. He applied various techniques: oil, watercolur, pastel temple and mixed crafts. His paintings have been exhibited in severla galleries all over the world. Metamorfphosis plays a large in my work, hence the human figure will also be part animals or become one with a tree, hair transforms into flowers, branches, clouds or flowing streams roots sprout from the ankles to become a part of the decaying undergrowth of a forest floor or the inside of a cave and bodies will at times sprout leaves or feathers.

Metamorfosis juega una gran parte en mi trabajo, por lo tanto, la figura humana será parte animal o llegará a ser como un árbol, las nubes en arroyos, las raíces brotan de los tobillos para formar parte de un sotobosque, del suelo de una selva o el interior de una caverna y organismos que a veces les brotaran hojas y plumas.

Trough my painting I attempt to reveal the hidden or the occult part of the psyche that we touch upon in the dream state. Much of the imagery in my work comes spontaneously into my mind in the form of a completed image or is done automatically using a very old technique or process called "decalcomania", which was taken to new height by the surrealist artist Max Ernst.

A través de mis pinturas intento revelar la oculta o secreta parte de la psique que nos afecta en el estado del sueño. Gran parte de las imágenes en mi trabajo vienen espontánea- mente a mi mente en forma de una imágen completa o se realiza automáticamente mediante una técnica muy antigua o proceso llamado "decalcomanía", el cual fue llevado a altas dimensiones por el artista surrealista Max Ernst.

I was born in Chicago. My chilwood memories are made up Old Chicago alleyways, tenements, red brick and cement played against the lush greenery and ponds of the nearly Park. I began drawing and painting when I was four years old. In my work I attempt to explore the interconnectedness of all things. I spend much of my time reading books on mythology, pshicology, philosophy, metaphysics, alchemy and the world of dreams.

Nací en Chicago, los recuerdos de mi niñez estan compuestos de los viejos callejones , casa de ladrillos y cemento que contrastan con la exhuberante vegetación y las lagunas del cercano Parque. Comencé a dibujar y pintar cuando tenía cuatro años. En mi trabajo intento explorar la interrelación de todas las cosas. Dedico mucho de mi tiempo leyendo libros sobre mitología, psicología, filosofía, metafísica alquimia y el mundo de los sueños.

I was born in Holland on the 7th of June, 1958. After finishing art studies in Amsterdam, I spent several years studying the language of symbols in mysticism and esoteric philosophy, which increasingly would become a prominent source of inspiration for my art. In the years that followed I specialized as a fine painter, especially focusing on mastering the classical painting techniques.

My subject matter usually has a spiritual content, although often the meaning is hidden behind the images of my personal mythology. In this way viewers of my paintings are invited to experience their own inner meaning in response to the images.
