Steven Kenny (Glade)

Steven Kenny "I was born in Peekskill, New York in 1962. I spent most of my childhood exploring the nearby woods, and this early exposure to plants and animals figures dominantly in my paintings today. I combine the human figure with elements from nature to comment on our interactions with the environment, and also symbolically allude to the dynamics of human nature in general." Steven Kenny "Nací en Peekskill, Nueva York en 1962. Pasé la mayor parte de mi infancia en los bosques cercanos, y esta temprana exposición a las plantas y animales es la figura dominante en mis pinturas . 4. Kamal El Deeb wrote: Glade " outing in the beautiful nature", Another amazing work of Steven Kenny. The presented tableau exhibits and reveals many ideas, beautiful feelings and large scope of imagination. 1- Absolute primary view to this composition, perhaps leads to departure from the intended meaning aimed by Kenny. But, accurate and experienced overview of the work, clearly arrives to the real approach. It is really bear in mind that glade should be in vast and wide landscapes . 2- The real hero, here is the girl, Kenny, created a very wonderful formation to make that girl as an actual part from the nature ( ambient ). 3- Look to the complexity of the trunks of trees, the body of the girl takes the same pattern and color of the surrounding plants .She really appears as a consistent part from this beautiful nature. 4- The mushrooms and plants grown on her green body, snails adhered with her very beautiful green mat, definitely clarifies Kenny's imaginations. 5- The light green color of this fantastic natural park leads to more joy and beauty, while the light blue color of the sky associated with little haze achieves more pleasure, which gives the meaning of A glade !!
